In this clinic, top quality patient care and scientific research are organised in a mutually beneficial collaboration. Alzheimer Center Amsterdam currently employs over 100 people, and is based at the department of Neurology. Research is embedded in Amsterdam Neuroscience.

Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center (BBRC) is a research facility dedicated to research on Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and healthy ageing from a clinical, cognitive, and biomarkers perspective. BBRC has a multidisciplinary research team comprising experts in AD pathophysiology, genetics, biomarkers, neuropsychology, and neuroimaging. The BBRC’s flagship project is the ALFA study, a cohort of over 2700 participants, enriched in risk factors for AD.
